ABOUT

Mark Wieder is a visionary artist exploring the space where nature and technology intertwine. Based in Puerto Rico, his practice blends sculpture, painting, and real-time generative visuals to create immersive worlds that provoke reflection and awaken a sense of wonder.
Before stepping fully into art, Mark spent years as a lawyer, then entrepreneur—founding Popped Culture, a charitable popcorn company, and The Pop’d Shop, an award-winning line of sparkling fruit drinks. These ventures weren’t just businesses; they were vibrant expressions of creativity, community, and flavor, laying the groundwork for the experiential, multisensory nature of Mark's work today.
After several years in the tech industry helping brands grow through strategy and storytelling, Mark went in search of more fulfilling projects—and found his way back to art.
What began as a mission for personal discovery quickly evolved into a prolific output (over 40 works in a year) and his debut solo exhibition, Odyssey, a blacklight dreamspace rooted in transformation, myth, and inner vision.
His recent installations, including Lucid Reflections and Wayfinder’s Lantern, merge organic materials with AI, optics, and interactive light, inviting viewers into luminous portals of shifting perception.
Whether through glowing fish sculptures, public murals, or live AI-rendered environments, Mark’s work traces the emotional terrain between what is real and what is imagined.
